Skills, competencies and experience:

Nigel joined Saga in 1985 and spent his formative years working in sales, finance and marketing before joining the commercial side of the business. In 1996, he instigated the purchase of Saga’s first cruise ship which was the catalyst of Saga’s in-house cruise operation. Nigel then spent 10 years working in a commercial and product development capacity across both the Cruise and Tour operating businesses. In 2007, he returned to the Cruise business and in 2015, helped lead the development of Saga’s first purpose-built cruise ship, Spirit of Discovery. He took over the role of Chief Operating Officer in 2018 and in 2021, was appointed as CEO of Saga Cruise.

Skills, competencies and experience:

John was appointed CEO for Saga Travel Group in January 2022, having been CEO of Titan Travel since July 2021. Prior to Saga, John was Executive Group General Manager of Helloworld, one of the largest travel distributors in Australia and New Zealand, following five years as the Global CEO of STA Travel. John also held senior roles within TUI UK and Austravel. John is an established leader in the travel industry and brings a wealth of sector knowledge and leadership experience.

Skills, competencies and experience:

Jerry joined Saga on 1 September 2022 as CEO of Saga Money. Jerry is pivotal in delivering Saga’s planned acceleration of its Money business, focused on attracting new customers and driving growth through new, and existing, products. Jerry has previously worked at businesses including Royal London, Homeserve, Royal Bank of Scotland and Egg.

Skills, competencies and experience:

Michael was appointed as Chief Data Officer on 3 October 2022 and is focused on realising the potential in the way Saga uses customer insight to enhance its commercial value. Michael joined from Camelot, the operator of the National Lottery, where he was Chief Data Officer. He has also held senior positions with Centrica and Tesco, having previously been a consultant with McKinsey and Company.

Roisin was appointed Chief People Officer in December 2023, after holding several senior roles within Saga. With over 15 years of multi-discipline and sector HR experience, Roisin is focused on strengthening our culture and enabling the delivery of the business strategy by creating an exceptional colleague experience and putting the customer at the heart of what we do.

Skills, competencies and experience:

David joined Saga in March 2023 as Chief Information Officer. David brings 30 years of experience in technology, digital and change leadership spanning retail, travel, financial services and manufacturing. He has held senior roles with Kingfisher, Home Retail Group and Avery Dennison.
